I'm so happy that Tea Spa in Rockville is back open. I had a 80 minute massage there last week with Melanie and it was great. I highly recommend going there to get a massage. Tea Spa has implemented safety standards to ensure customers are in a healthy and safe environment. The massage rooms are extremely clean and disinfected. You and the massage therapist both wear mask during the massage. You can felt comfortable and safe having a massage at Tea Spa. |
Called and was so happy they had an opening right away for me. Had such a great time; very welcoming and helpful staff. Such a lovely and calm place, the therapist I had did an amazing job. I told her about my back pain and she spent extra time showing my back more attention. Left that Friday feeling so relaxed and less tender. I definitely will be back very soon.
Great experience during Covid19. I was very happy to find that they were going above and beyond and taking extra measures to ensure a safe experience for clients during Covid19. They were also able to accommodate same day on multiple occasions. I am very happy with the staff, service and the facilities. I always have a great experience and highly recommend them.

I don't typically write reviews but always read other people's reviews. However, I feel compelled to write a review after the AMAZING massage I got by Amy. It was my first time here and I didn't know what to expect. I was a little skeptical/worried about cleanliness and safety measures given COVID, but all my worries were left at the door. The place was super clean, no one waiting in the waiting area, clients by appointment only and they took me immediately to the room. Amy explained that everything had been sanitized. I got undressed and the rest is history. I was incredibly stressed out and had so many knots around my neck, shoulder area and back. Amy did such an excellent job relieving all those pressure points. This is literally the best massage I've never gotten. I will definitely be going back - I loved it so much that I signed up to be a member. I highly recommend Amy!!! |

I call seeking a same day appointment, and was very happy to find that they were able to accommodate me. I have to say it was one of the best deep tissue messages I have had in my life! Also, they informed me they are taking all precautions to insure a safe experience. I was very happy with the environment and my experience. Felt amazing afterwards, and will definitely be going weekly! |

I haven't been at Tea Spa since last year but my amazing 50min massage with foot scrub was amazing. Linda use all covid precautions to make sure everyone was safe. I felt so relieved after working 12hrs on my feet. She also made me the most delicious ginger tea. I went home gladly knowing I will be returning to Linda. |

I visited the the spa today and I was very happy with my experience. I called and made the same day appointment and the receptionist, Onnya, was very nice and professional. I had a lot of questions and she did such an amazing job at answering all of them.(sometimes I can be annoying lol but she was very patient and responsive.) the spa was extremely clean and they had signs for social distancing present. My therapist, Sunny, took my tempter before beginning the massage, and then politely led me to my room. The room had a sign present stating that it had been recently disinfected, which I really appreciated. Sunny then asked me questions about how I'd like my massage, and paid special attention to my answers. She also wore a face mask and shield throughout the entire session. The massage itself was very relaxing and my therapist did such an amazing job at targeting all the areas I had specified with nice deep pressure. I tipped her $20, as it was the suggested amount. I was very happy with my experience and I can't wait to go back. |
I have been coming to Tea Spa for years and you can always count on a good massage no matter which therapist you choose. I went to Linda who is amazing for deep pressure and pain relief. I felt that the precautions they were taking for the pandemic situation were more than adequate. Thank you so much for reopening!!
The environment is very relaxing with the music, aromatherapy and an accommodating staff. They have taken precautions with covid for extra cleaning procedures and screening. The prices and services (scalp massage!) were excellent.
Tea Spa is thankfully back OPEN and the experience was sooo worth the wait as we all learn to co-exist with COVID-19. Thank you Tony for a great massage! My 9/3/2020 appointment was easy to make by phone and Tea Spa really made me feel safe in their space starting from outside of their door where they have a self-sanitation station for patrons to use before entering (hand sanitizer, wipes and shoe covers), plus it's mandatory to wear your mask at all times - including during your session. The front desk staff was courteous and they're always pleasant as they checked my temperature and explained their safety protocols before calling my masseuse - all staff also wore masks at all times. The massage room was tranquil and music relaxing - I felt confident in having a massage with my face masks on (breathing for me was pretty normal). I was shown signage that indicates a room has been dusenfected. They also use multiple disposable face cradle sheets per session and multiple sheets on the massage table to include a waterproof cover. UV lighting is used additionally to sanitize the room between sessions during the extra time allotted for wiping down everything and preparing for the next guest. As a long time Tea Spa member, I'll be back again!
I felt totally safe with their Covid precautions. My first facial! It was relaxing and reasonable. The esthetician educated me about my skin and advised me the areas needing tlc. Thank heaven, no sun damage due to my obsession with sunscreens. Everyone was professional but friendly. I became a member for the discounts. I will add a massage next time. Highly recommend!

I got the STRESS RELIEVE MASSAGE which was much needed especially in light of COVID. Service was awesome as usual. Tea spa has done a great job to provide a safe and super clean environment: using UV light in each room to disinfect the air in between each client, using three layers of sheets per client, using a waterproof cover for the massage table and face cradle, and using alcohol to wipe all surfaces. We wear masks during sessions (me and my therapist). In addition, I was asked to wear shoe covers(provided at the front door), and use hand sanitizers (also provides at the door) prior entering the spa before. |

I have been waiting for Tea Spa to re-open post COVID shut down. My first visit back did not disappoint! All their COVID mitigation techniques were well thought out and it felt safe and clean. You have to wash/sanitize your hands and take off your shoes before entering, have your temperature taken and you are immediately taken to your room. The therapists wear masks and gloves but it wasn't uncomfortable. Can't wait for my next visit! |
This place recently returned to giving massages after being closed many months due to Covid-19. I felt they took all precautions before and during my appointment. I felt completely safe and comfortable. I always enjoy the services here, but it was extra special after having to wait so long for the business to reopen.

I've been a member of Tea Spa for several years now and I scheduled an appointment for a massage September 1, 2020, which just happened to be their 1st day open since the COVID-19 closure. I can assure you they are taking every precaution to keep themselves as well as us (the client) safe during this difficult, stressful and crazy time. Upon arrival, with my mask on, which is required the entire time, I had to immediately wash my hands or use the hand sanitizer provided. Had to remove my shoes or use the plastic shoe covers also provided AND had my temperature taken all prior to entering the facility. I was immediately escorted to my room which was also sanitized and the massage table now has a plastic cover under the linen for easy cleaning between client appointments. I was really excited to hear they had re-opened as I was desperately in need for a massage. This pandemic has really caused much stress and anxiety trying to keep safe while having to still work to pay the bills on time and Tea Spa was just the relaxation I needed. Ohhhh how it hurt so good! Welcome back Tea Spa!!! |

Massages during the pandemic: Tea spa went above and beyond to make sure they took all necessary precautions when administering services. My boyfriend and I got a couples massage on September 1st for the grand re-opening. We were immediately greeted by Jane who had us sanitize our hands and put on shoe covers. Jane then checked our temperature before we could enter the spa. Our male masseuse, Aly, led us to our room where Jane and Aly discussed all of the safety measures that the staff has taken including fresh linens, mask and gloves, face covers on the massage table, and sanitation. We both wore our mask during the massage and we felt very comfortable. The beds were heated which felt wonderful. We got a great couples massage at an awesome rate. Our massage therapist were thorough and took care of all our needs. Aly gave me an amazing massage literally from head to toe. There was pleasant relaxing spa music playing and the room was large enough that we didn't feel crammed in there. The front desk staff member was also very friendly. I know that these are scary times, but tea spa made me feel reassured that I was safe during my massage. I would highly recommend Tea Spa especially during this pandemic. I have been a member for Tea Spa since 2016. I love this place. |
Dorianne was amazing! This was my first massage more than 10 years and I was having a lot of shoulder and neck pain and headaches. She was super welcoming andsweet and her aura just relax me immediately. I was put into a room very clean comfortable relaxing excellent temperature and she would always check on me asfar as my comfort level. She gave me great tips as far as stress reduction. I didn't know what to expect afterwards. I did have some involuntary muscle spasmson my left shoulder that night and was very sore afterwards but it was a good sore. I was advised by a friend to keep hydrated and took some Advil that night.The tightness and neck and shoulder pain are much improved and I will definitely be going back.
Tea Spa Wellness really worked hard to make sure all of my needs were met! I had a couples massage (they were super accommodating), a facial (hydrating mask and my skin feels amazing), a foot massage for my boyfriend, and 2 pedicures! Everyone was VERY professional and wonderful! Definitely recommend a visit! Thanks Tea Spa
I had a excellent experience at the Tea Spa Wellness Center yesterday. I had the a 50-minute Signature Massage. The practitioner was professional and highly trained, offering a thorough treatment that was both relaxing and therapeutic. I highly recommend the Spa!

The couples Swedish massage was very relaxing! The warm blankets and the lighting helped keeps us relaxed during the massage! The masseuses were very respectful and melts asking if the pressure was good, If we wanted lighter or firmer! They were all around wonderful and I would go back again!
My daughter and I had a amazing time at Tea Spa I will definitely come back and I highly recommend this place. The ladies who did the massage it was just wonderful.
